Haven was born in one family.
Brothers Simon and Joshua grew up making films with a borrowed camera and went on to direct and produce full-length features.
Stephan and Michaela Wesely — same last name, same family — spent over 25 years pastoring and building a small church that grew and became known for its youth & children’s ministry. They also developed a marriage app that has already helped more than 500,000 couples.
Together, we saw the same problem: Christian audiences hungry for meaningful stories, Christian filmmakers struggling to get paid fairly, and platforms treating faith-based content like cheap catalog filler.
Haven is our family’s answer: a platform where pastors and filmmakers work side by side to build a fair, Christ-centered home for Christian films.
